Stimulating Economic Development

The main objective of AKCP is to develop efficient Credit Information Sharing mechanisms used by all credit providers and borrowers in Kenya.The purpose is to:

  1. Stimulate economic development through stable and efficient credit market
  2. Improve risk management in all credit providers
  3. Reward low risk borrowers through better credit terms
  4. Uphold a culture of good loan repayment and reduced loan delinquency
  5. Promote high quality of data shared, and
  6. Ensure that disputes regarding data accuracy are resolved promptly and fairly
The School has made significant contribution towards the creation of a critical mass of skills envisaged by Vision 2030. Besides, it has acquired international reputation through its training programmes and research through collaborations with local Universities to offer specialized graduate level programme and hosting of international institutions.
